Jim K. Sims, Chairman

Jim K. Sims has served as our chairman of the board of directors since November 2003 and previously served as our Chief Executive Officer.. Mr. Sims has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GEN3 Partners, a consulting company that specializes in science-based technology development, since 1999, and as General Partner of its affiliated private equity investment fund, GEN3 Capital I, LP, since 2005. Mr. Sims founded Silicon Valley Data Science in 2012 and Cambridge Technology Partners in 1991. Prior to Cambridge Technology Partners, Mr. Sims also founded Concurrent Computer Corporation. Mr. Sims currently serves on the board of directors of various private companies including EPAY Systems, Inc., Connections 365, Inc. and Bright Volt, Inc. and has previously served on the board of directors of public companies including Cambridge Technology Partners, RSA Security, Inc. and Electronic Data Systems Corporation. Mr. Sims’ extensive experience as a director of numerous public and private companies, as well as his extensive experience as a founder and venture capital investor in the technology industry, contributed to our board of directors’ conclusion that he should serve as a director of our company.

Francis X. Egan, Director

Francis X. Egan has served on our board of directors since May 2010. Mr. Egan currently serves as a Managing Director of GEN3 Capital, a position he has held since 2005. Mr. Egan also currently serves as the Managing Director of Northwater Capital, Inc., an intellectual property focused venture capital company, a position he has held since 2006. Prior to GEN3 Capital, Mr. Egan served as Executive Vice President with PaineWebber (UBS), Kemper Securities Inc. and Dain Rauscher Wessels. Mr. Egan currently serves on the board of directors of various private companies including Arctic Sand Technologies, Inc., Aquilon Energy Services, Inc., One Chip Photonics, EPAY Systems, Red Wave Energy, Inc., MTPV Power Corporation, Ioxus, Inc., ThinkVine, Inc., R3 Fusion, Inc., Legend 3D, Inc., Skyonic Corp., Solicore, Inc. and Specialists on Call. Mr. Egan holds a B.A. from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Egan’s extensive experience as a venture capital investor in the technology industry, as well as his extensive experience as a board member of numerous companies, contributed to our board of directors’ conclusion that he should serve as a director of our company.

TJ Chung, Director

TJ Chung has served on our board of directors since October 2018. Mr. Chung is a Senior Partner at Core Industrial Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm investing in North American lower middle-market industrial and manufacturing businesses. He has over twenty-five years of leadership experience in strategic development, business acquisition, operational excellence, global expansion, and innovation across software, electronics, and industrial sectors, and was most recently the President of Teletrac Navman, a leading global SaaS provider of cloud-based commercial telematics solutions and an operating company of Danaher (NYSE: DHR). Prior to Teletrac Navman, Chung served as CEO of Navman Wireless, a leading SaaS provider of GPS-based fleet management solutions, and has held senior executive positions at Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC) and Emerson Electric (NYSE: EMR).

Joan Gillman, Director

Joan Gillman has served on our board of directors since November 2016. Between 2006 and 2016, she served as Executive Vice President of Time Warner Cable, as well as Chief Operating Officer of Time Warner Cable Media and President of Time Warner Cable Media, LLC. Mrs. Gillman joined Time Warner Cable as Vice President of Interactive TV and Advanced Advertising in 2005. Prior to Time Warner Cable, she served as the President of OpenTV from 2001 to 2002. Mrs. Gillman currently represents the boards of Centrica, PLC, the Jesuit Volunteer Corp, and the David T. Langrock Foundation. She previously represented the boards of National Cable Communications, Interactive Advertising Bureau, Video Advertising Bureau, Women in Cable Telecommunications, BlackArrow, LLC and Seawell Networks. Mrs. Gillman holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and an M.A. in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University. Mrs. Gillman brings to the board more than 20 years of executive experience in the media and communications industries. She has been determined by the board as having the right leadership skills, expertise, and industry insight to help shape the company’s strategic roadmap.

Thomas A. Munro, Director

Thomas A. Munro has served on our board of directors since 2004. Mr. Munro is the former Chief Executive Officer of Verimatrix, Inc., an Internet security technology company, a position he has held since April 2005. Prior to Verimatrix, Mr. Munro was the President of Wireless Facilities from 2001 to 2003 and Chief Financial Officer from 1997 to 2001. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Precision Digital Images from 1994 to 1995 and MetLife Capital Corporation from 1992 to 1994. Mr. Munro currently serves on the board of directors of BandwidthX, Inc., a private company, and previously served on the board of directors of private companies Kineticom, Inc. and CommNexus. Mr. Munro holds a B.A. in business and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. Mr. Munro’s extensive knowledge of our business and history and experience in the wireless technology industry contributed to our board of directors’ conclusion that he should serve as a director of our company.

Arthur M. Toscanini has served on our board of directors since 2005. Mr. Toscanini is the Chief Financial Officer of GEN3 Partners, a position he has held since 2000. Prior to GEN3 Partners, he was with Cambridge Technology Partners from 1991 to 2000, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Toscanini also served as Vice President and Controller of Concurrent Computer Corporation from 1986 to 1991. Jacob Suen, President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Suen, President and Chief Executive Officer, served as Airgain’s President since January 2019, and previously served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. He brings over 20 years of domestic and international business development and management experience to Airgain and is responsible for strategic direction at the company. Previously, Mr. Suen served numerous management positions as Director of Business Development, OEM/ODM Manager, and Regional Network Consultant for Paradyne Corporation, formerly a part of AT&T and a supplier of network equipment worldwide. While at Paradyne, Mr. Suen was responsible for reducing overall cost and improved time to market in various product lines through the ODM/OEM initiative and successfully established its very first subsidiary in China. Mr. Suen has also held various product development and engineering positions at GVN Technologies and Motorola. Mr. Suen received his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado, Masters of Electrical Engineering and Management from the University of South Florida, and B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
