(NASDAQ: AIRG), a leading provider of advanced antenna technologies used to enable high performance wireless networking across a broad range of devices and markets, including connected home, enterprise, automotive, and Internet of Things (IoT), today announced the appointment of TJ Chung to the Airgain board of directors.

Chung is a Senior Partner at Core Industrial Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm investing in North American lower middle-market industrial and manufacturing businesses. He has over twenty-five years of leadership experience in strategic development, business acquisition, operational excellence, global expansion, and innovation across software, electronics, and industrial sectors, and was most recently the President of Teletrac Navman, a leading global SaaS provider of cloud-based commercial telematics solutions and an operating company of Danaher (NYSE: DHR). “I’m delighted to be joining Airgain at such an exciting time for the company and the industries it serves,” said TJ Chung. “The increasing importance of wireless connectivity across industries and around the globe, combined with Airgain’s technical leadership provide huge opportunities for the company.”

“We are thrilled to have TJ join the board at Airgain at this key point in the company’s growth,” said James K. Sims, Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer at Airgain. “His deep operating experience, combined with his knowledge and insight into the fleet market means he will be an invaluable addition to the Airgain board.”

Chung currently serves on the boards of both Littelfuse (NASDAQ: LFUS) and Mastercraft (NASDAQ: MCFT) and sits on the compensation committee at both companies. In addition, he serves on the advisory boards of the Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and the Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
