Jacob Suen

President and Chief Executive Officer

Jacob Suen, President and Chief Executive Officer, served as Airgain’s President since January 2019, and previously served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. He brings over 20 years of domestic and international business development and management experience to Airgain and is responsible for strategic direction at the company. Previously, Mr. Suen served numerous management positions as Director of Business Development, OEM/ODM Manager, and Regional Network Consultant for Paradyne Corporation, formerly a part of AT&T and a supplier of network equipment worldwide. While at Paradyne, Mr. Suen was responsible for reducing overall cost and improved time to market in various product lines through the ODM/OEM initiative and successfully established its very first subsidiary in China. Mr. Suen has also held various product development and engineering positions at GVN Technologies and Motorola. Mr. Suen received his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado, Masters of Electrical Engineering and Management from the University of South Florida, and B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

David Lyle

Chief Financial Officer

David Lyle joins Airgain with twelve years of public company CFO experience and over two decades of experience in the technology industry, much of which was spent in wireless technology markets. Mr. Lyle has a proven track record in successfully scaling high growth technology companies, having served in leadership roles in both public and private companies. Before joining Airgain, Mr. Lyle was the CFO of Sunniva, Inc., and prior to Sunniva, he was CFO at Maxwell Technologies, Inc. for four years, which was acquired by Tesla in 2019. He also served as the CFO of Entropic Communications, Inc., which was acquired in 2015 by MaxLinear. Prior to Entropic, he served as the CFO of RF Magic, acquired by Entropic in 2007, Zyray Wireless, acquired by Broadcom in 2004, and Mobilian, acquired by Intel in 2003. Mr. Lyle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Southern California, a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.

Morad Sbahi

Senior Vice President of Global Product and Marketing

Morad Sbahi is responsible for managing and marketing Airgain’s products as well as driving adoption of the company’s newer technologies across the globe. As the SVP of Global Product and Marketing, Mr. Sbahi is also responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy that supports business growth and enhances brand awareness. By operating across all segments of the company, Mr. Sbahi’s role is to help Airgain expand into new markets and product categories worldwide. Since joining Airgain in 2013, Mr. Sbahi has held a number of senior management positions, including most recently as Vice President of Corporate Strategy, where he spearheaded the company’s recent acquisition of NimbeLink, a leader in edge-based cellular connectivity solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things. Prior to that, Mr. Sbahi was Airgain’s General Manager, EMEA, where he helped to establish Airgain’s solid presence in the geography. Before joining Airgain, he served as General Manager, EMEA for SMC Networks, Inc., a provider of customer premise equipment for service providers, where he led the development of SMC’s European business and directed the company’s planning and execution efforts across the market. Mr. Sbahi brings over 20 years of international executive management experience in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries to Airgain. A recognized industry leader, he has held executive management positions with such companies as Broadcom, Texas Instruments, Applied Micro Circuits, and Ubee Interactive. Mr. Sbahi holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from the Warwick Business School.

Ali Sadri, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President, Engineering

Ali Sadri, Ph.D. is Airgain’s Senior Vice President, Engineering, bringing over 25 years of advanced scientific and engineering management experience and is responsible for developing solutions to support Airgain’s current and future businesses. Prior to joining Airgain, Dr. Sadri held several executive positions at leading technology companies, and most prominently at Intel where he spent over 18 years as head of the mmWave advanced technology development group. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Engineering at SOLiD Inc. where he led the company’s mmWave product strategy and development. In addition to his professional career, Dr. Sadri serves as an industry international advisor at Tokyo Institute of Technology and earlier served as a visiting assistant professor at Duke University. Prior to Intel, Dr. Sadri held executive positions at WiGig Alliance as founder and Chairman of the Board and as Director of Communications Standards at IBM. Dr. Sadri received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Business from North Carolina State University and is a named inventor on over 150 domestic and international patents.

Scott Schwalbe

Vice President, Global Sales

Scott Schwalbe joins Airgain as Vice President, Global Sales. With over 20 years of leadership experience, Mr. Schwalbe has a long history of building profitable businesses and successful teams. Prior to joining Airgain, he was Co-Founder and CEO of NimbeLink where he grew the company into a multi-million dollar business until it was bought by Airgain in 2021. Mr. Schwalbe was responsible for the corporate vision, strategy, and the overall execution of the company. Prior to founding NimbeLink in May of 2013, he held leadership roles for several industry-leading companies, including Logic PD and Celestica. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a Cryptologic Linguist and retired after 20 years. He earned his B.S. at New York University and his M.B.A. from Cardinal Stritch University. 

Victor Blair

Vice President of Global Operations

Victor Blair joins Airgain as Vice President of Global Operations and is responsible for all Airgain manufacturing, supply chain, legal compliance, and technical services support operations across the globe. He began his career with Advent Electronics, Inc., eventually rising to the positions of Chairman/President/CEO, gaining unparalleled experience in the electronics contract manufacturing space. He also served as President and CEO at Custom Cable Assembly and held senior positions at Buse Industries, PEI-Genesis, and FilConn. Throughout his time in the industry, Vic has established himself as a respected merger and acquisition professional. He is recognized amongst his peers by his relentless commitment to professional project management, risk-based thinking, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and achieving exponential improvements in corporate financial results.
